Crystal and Jason's 75 acre farm is located in the lush rolling hills surrounding Nimbin. They are passionate about sustainability, the environment and developing high end hemp products.

Our Wild Woods hemp farm is set high up in the hills in the beautiful Jiggi Valley, between Nimbin and Lismore. Fresh mountain air, high rainfall, rich red volcanic soil and organic fertilizer from the flock of free range chickens, make for great natural growing conditions. Paul is a passionate and innovative farmer. He brings expertise across the whole farming cycle, with a keen interest in breeding. He is constantly looking for ways to improve hemp farming by focusing on improving the overall health of the soil and the land.

Hemp as a lifestyle Hey I’m Leif and I was born and bred in the very heart of the Mt Wolumbin Caldera. The Northern Rivers has been my home for 40years and as such I have a strong connection to the land, the people and its abundance of beauty. My partner Kate and I have made this our home and have 5 young sons together with another on the way. Its our boys that have driven me to embrace the hemp industry and all its potential. My passion lies in connecting with the land, cultivating this incredible plant, educating, mentoring and consulting other local Hemp farmers to help the industry grow. I was originally a primary school teacher however the reason that I have chosen the hemp industry and made it my new career path over the past 5 years is because of what the plant has to offer. The limitless possibilities of this plant and the majestic and perfect growing environment that we live in make it hard to ignore hemp as both a profession and a way of life which can and will support my family and the planet well into the future. The Northern Rivers Hemp Growers Co -operative has become a tool to help implement this and we feel very strongly that as a collective we have a far better chance of getting the word out.

LEIF TAYLOR
Our family run farm is nestled amongst the coastal hills of Cudgera Creek just north of Byron Bay. Our plan was to reforest this former banana farm, however the soil degradation from years of mono crop plantation farming led us to hemp. A way to rejuvenate the land our young children play on. A way to create a future for our family that didn’t take more than it gave back. The Northern Rivers of New South Wales is a particularly special part of the world, its landscape, it’s people, it’s community and it’s artisanal innovation- it’s the perfect ecosystem for hemp to thrive. We are so excited to join with passionate and knowledgeable hemp farmers from our beautiful region and play our part in developing this undeniable industry.

My wife and I have a property on top of Bungabee state forest/ nature reserve, the property has been pesticide and herbicide free for at least the last 30 years and has rich red volcanic soil. I am passionate about producing organically grown hemp and a strong believer in the healing properties of hemp products.

We are brothers and long time Northern Rivers fellas. We have lived in Nimbin most of our lives.
We started farming hemp as as side gig while also working in our family construction business. We are keen hemp farmers who can see the benefits of hemp for our region, the land and peoples health.
We are excited for the future of hemp farming in Northern RIvers!
